Author Guidelines

Journal of Elementary Education Innovations (JoEEI)

Journal of Elementary Education Innovations (JoEEI) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research articles and scholarly works focusing on basic and elementary education. Managed by Universitas Pakuan, the journal is published twice a year (June and December). All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

1. General Guidelines for Manuscripts

  1. Manuscripts must be original works and not under consideration elsewhere.
  2. Articles may be written in Indonesian or English.
  3. Manuscripts must follow the journal article template.
  4. Paper size: A4 (210 × 297 mm) with 2.54 cm margins on all sides.
  5. Font: Calibri, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing.
  6. Length: 5,000–7,000 words including references.
  7. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism.

2. Scope of the Journal

The journal focuses on Basic / Elementary Education, including:

  • Teaching and learning in primary schools
  • Curriculum and instructional design
  • Assessment and evaluation
  • Educational innovation and technology
  • Teacher education and professional development
  • Educational management and policy in basic education

4. Writing Details

Title
Maximum 20 words, Calibri 14 pt, bold, centered.

Abstract
Written in Indonesian and English, maximum 150 words, including objectives, methods, and findings.

Keywords
3–8 keywords separated by semicolons.

Introduction
Contains background, state of the art, research gap, objectives, and novelty.

Methods
Describes research design, participants, instruments, data collection, and analysis.

Results and Discussion
Presents findings and discusses them in relation to previous studies.

Conclusion
Summarizes findings and implications for elementary education.

5. Tables, Figures, and Equations

Tables and Figures must be clearly titled and numbered consecutively. Equations should be written using MathType and numbered on the right margin.

6. Citation and References

References must follow APA 7th Edition. At least 80% of references should be primary journal articles published within the last 10 years. Authors are encouraged to use reference managers such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

7. Online Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal System (OJS). Authors must register as Author and complete all metadata fields during submission.

8. Review Process

All submissions are evaluated using a double-blind peer-review process.
